Privacy Policy

What we collect through this website, who it goes to, and what you can ask us to do about it. Written to describe what this site actually does rather than what a template assumes.

Last updated: 5 August 2026

The short version: this site sets no cookies and carries no advertising. We count visits with an analytics tool that uses no cookies and cannot identify you. Everything else we get is what you type into a form, plus the standard server logs any website produces.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy covers https://www.cloud-kings.com and the information Cloud Kings collects through it. It does not cover the systems we operate for clients under a services agreement — those are governed by that agreement.

Cloud Kings is based in South Florida and serves clients across the United States. Our postal address is in section 12.

2. Information we collect

2.1. Information you give us

We collect what you type into a form on this site. Depending on the form, that is your name, email address, phone number, company name, website, preferred contact method, and whatever you write in the message field. The careers form also accepts links you choose to share.

If you book a call, the scheduling tool collects your name, email address, the time you choose, and anything you add in its notes field.

2.2. Information collected automatically

Our host records standard server logs when a page is requested, including IP address, the page requested, referring page, browser type, and the time of the request. These are used to serve the site and to investigate faults and abuse.

2.3. What we do not collect

We do not collect payment information through this site. There is no checkout and no payment processor.

We do not run advertising or advertising trackers on this site, and we do not build profiles of visitors. We do measure how the site is used, in aggregate and without cookies, and section 2.4 describes exactly what that involves.

2.4. Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to this site, see which pages are read, and see which search engine or website sent someone here. It is operated by Cloudflare, who already host this site and are named in section 4.

It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, which is why this site shows no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to. It does not fingerprint your device, does not follow you to other websites, and does not retain your IP address.

What it produces is counts: visits, page views, referring sites, country, browser and device type, and measurements of how quickly pages load. It cannot identify you, and it gives us no way to see what any individual visitor did.

We use it to understand whether what we publish reaches anyone and whether the site is fast enough, and to know how many people ask us something after reading it.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to an inquiry, a job application, or a booking request.
  • To provide and maintain the services you ask us about.
  • To send you email you have specifically asked for, such as a newsletter you subscribed to. You can unsubscribe from any such email.
  • To keep the site working, secure, and free of abuse.
  • To meet legal or regulatory obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use the following service providers, and only for the purposes described:

4.1. Service providers

  • Formspree (formspree.io) — receives submissions from every form on this site, emails them to us, and stores them so that we can read and respond to them.
  • Buttondown (buttondown.email) — holds the mailing list, if you subscribe to our newsletter. It receives only your email address, and every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link that removes you from it.
  • Cal.com — provides the scheduling tool embedded on our Schedule a Call page, and receives the booking details you enter into it.
  • Cloudflare — hosts this site and serves its pages, processes server logs as described above, and provides the cookieless analytics described in section 2.4.

4.2. Other disclosures

We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights and safety of others.

If Cloud Kings is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We would post notice on this page before your information became subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It carries no advertising pixels and no cross-site tracking scripts, and its fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font network.

Three pieces of third-party code run here, and each is worth being precise about.

Every page loads Cloudflare Web Analytics, described in section 2.4. It is cookieless by design — it sets nothing, stores nothing in your browser, and measures the visit rather than the visitor.

Our Schedule a Call page embeds a scheduling tool from Cal.com. That embedded tool is operated by Cal.com and may set its own cookies or browser storage within the embed, governed by Cal.com's privacy policy rather than this one.

Our homepage carries a video hosted on YouTube. Nothing is requested from YouTube when the page loads — the still image you see is served from our own domain, and no YouTube code, cookie or connection is involved until you click play. If you do click, the player is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com and YouTube may then set cookies and receive information about your viewing, governed by Google's privacy policy rather than this one. Not clicking means no contact with YouTube at all.

Apart from those three, no page on this site loads third-party code.

6. How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and correspondence for as long as needed to deal with them and to maintain a record of our dealings with you, and then for as long as we are required to by law or by the limitation periods applicable to potential claims.

If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it. See section 8.

7. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections to the providers named in section 4.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any regulator where we are required to.

8. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop sending you marketing email at any time. Email info@cloud-kings.com and we will respond as promptly as we can, and within any period the law requires.

We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

8.1. California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, used, and disclosed; to request deletion; to request correction; and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights.

The categories of personal information we collect are identifiers (such as name, email address, phone number, and IP address) and, where you write it into a message, any other information you choose to provide. We collect it for the purposes in section 3 and disclose it only to the service providers in section 4.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. Because we do not, this site carries no Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link.

We do not knowingly collect the personal information of anyone under 16.

8.2. Individuals in the EEA and the UK

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: your consent, where you have given it, such as subscribing to a newsletter; our legitimate interests in responding to your inquiry and in keeping this site secure; the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one; and compliance with a legal obligation.

In addition to the rights above, you may object to or ask us to restrict processing, request portability of information you gave us, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

Cloud Kings operates in the United States, and information you send us is processed there. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

9. Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other sites

This site links to other websites, including our social media profiles and pages belonging to organizations we reference. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle information you have already given us, we will take reasonable steps to tell you.

12. Contact us

For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights in section 8, email info@cloud-kings.com or call 954-247-1507. Cloud Kings is based in Coral Springs, FL. If you need a postal address for a formal request, ask and we will provide one.
